For brides, immersion before the wedding day is a special occasion. For most women it will be the first time visiting the mikvah, marking the transition from single life to marriage. Jewish brides customarily immerse in the mikvah in the few days prior to their wedding, allowing them to come to their wedding day refreshed and rejuvenated, but most importantly spiritually prepared for the journey that awaits.
